As I worked on it, I thought about this fine line between presence and absence, light and shadow. Like the mythical Eurydice, this creation carries something fragile but deeply present; a memory that is not lost, but is transformed. Her canvas accepted the ecru texture of the mat like earth that welcomes light, while the chocolate details of the thread added depth and stability. Each stitch became a small act of balancing between two worlds — the soft and the stable, the traditional and the modern. Eurydice expresses the woman who does not need to return to exist. Who continues to live through her imprint, through the sensation she leaves behind. A woman who knows that real presence is never lost; it simply changes form. Eurydice is a story about what remains when everything else changes. Its handmade packaging continues the same narrative.
