Argiope - Handmade Art Bag| Grace Note

Argiope was not designed,   it was born spontaneously in a moment of creation.

I really wanted to embroider ..a bright, light bag, but I didn't know what design I wanted to make. I took the canvas and ecru thread. Each stitch followed its own path like each thread in a web that is built with patience, perseverance and instinct. 

Her name was born at the end.

Argiope is an expression of the moment that connects experiences, memories and thoughts into a single whole. A work that expresses that power is not always found in the planned, but in the freedom of creation.

Its handmade packaging - a hand-painted wooden box - continues the same story, turning its presentation into an integral part of the work.
